Born in the North East of England, I moved to London at 18 with a clear mission: to operate at the very top of the security industry. After a meteoric rise working under Flying Squad legend George Gibbs and protecting artists such as George Michael and Alice Cooper, I transitioned into touring and production—spending the last three decades shaping global standards in live music and entertainment since 1985.
My breakthrough in touring came when Jive Records CEO Steve Jenkins entrusted me with leading Steps’ record-breaking tours. That success established me as a trusted name behind the scenes for global superstars including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys, and *NSYNC, delivering world-class tours across Europe and North America. Alongside my business partner Barrie Knight, I co-founded Proctor and Knight, an international music and entertainment security company. After many successful years, Barrie and I pursued different directions, though we remain lifelong friends.
I went on to launch Total Touring Limited, producing and managing tours for major acts such as Tom Jones, Madness, and Tears for Fears, as well as large-scale live events including Bestival, Rockness, and international stadium shows. My expertise covers every aspect of touring and event execution—logistics, budgeting, creative direction, and artist relations—always with security seamlessly integrated.
I’ve played a pivotal role in high-profile comebacks, including Steps’ reunion tours and Seal’s European run, and was instrumental in introducing Cher Lloyd to global audiences. My consultancy work has extended worldwide—from advising the United Nations in Afghanistan to leading the global touring strategy and security framework for BTS on behalf of Live Nation.
From intimate club tours to major festivals and international stadium productions, I deliver artist-focused, results-driven solutions executed with precision. With a reputation built on trust, innovation, and excellence, I continue to serve as a go-to consultant for artists, promoters, and entertainment brands worldwide.
My passion for creative input and artist development has also led me into music management and international consultancy, with projects across Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and other key global markets—always driving forward game-changing live experiences.

(Event Director Mar 2013) Anton Zingarevich, the owner of Reading Football Club, approached me through Yuli Grig with the ambitious vision of hosting a blockbuster show at Reading Football Stadium, I knew I was in for an exhilarating challenge.
My initial involvement was production, but it quickly became evident that the project needed a strong hand at the helm. With a tight deadline looming and a less experienced team at my side, I was tasked with event directing.
